HosmartAI aims to set up an External Poll of Evaluators (EPE) to support the review process of the proposals received under the HosmartAI Open Call #2 – EXPERIMENT: Call for Pilots.
The EPE will gather a set of high-profile experts with sound expertise in the AI industry and healthcare market. The experts will be selected through an open process, to ensure transparent and consistent evaluation of the proposed AI/Robotics pilots for smart healthcare.

Evaluators’ profile
We are looking for experts meeting the following requirements:
- 10 years of AI industrial experience
- Represent the technology adopter perspective
- Experts that have already evaluated proposals for the EC (not limited to, but desired)
- Business experience
Services required
Services will be provided remotely and will involve:
- Remote evaluation of the written proposals
- Moderate between 1-2 consensus meetings and providing a final report
- Attend approx. 30 min interview through a videoconference with the shortlisted candidates
Selected evaluators will be required to sign a non-conflict of interest declaration and a contract, as well as attend a mandatory 1-hour webinar explaining the process of evaluation.

Remuneration
Evaluators will be reimbursed for their time and effort based on the number of proposals evaluated. Participation as an evaluator will be renumerated min. 70€ per application (including mandatory participation in the webinar, consensus meeting and interview, if any).
The evaluator is expected to evaluate up to 7 applications per day.
Timeline
The evaluation process is forecasted between the half of November and December. Depending on the number of applications received, the evaluation may need to be extended to January 2023 (excluding the holiday break).
The exact dates indicated above are subject to change, depending on the final deadline of the Open Call for proposals from candidates and the number of proposals received.
