HosmartAi pilots attend the Radical Health Festival in Helsinki

The project HosmartAI is coming to an end, but the pilots involved in the programme continue to make the project very much alive. This time was in Helsinki, in the Radical Health Festival (RHF) 2024 edition, where five pilots participated and had the chance to showcase their projects to the digital health industry.

During 3 days, internal pilots 1,2 and 6 and the OC winners SoftLungX and SICS made their debut at the RHF, and presented live their solutions to the industry. It was a great opportunity to collect feedback from potential users and the market, get to know the trends and how they upgrade their projects to match the current needs.

“It helped a lot to meet people from the digital health innovation ecosystem, listen to inspiring talks regarding the future of digital health and better understand the current market and entrepreneurial landscape.“

Antonis Billis, Pilot 1

Alongside these valuable opportunities, they had the chance to search for potential partners, investors and additional funding for their next steps. The EC2VC Investment Forum and Pitch Match provided the chance for future funding and some pilots participated in this activitiy.

Several presentations took place engaging our pilots not only on industry topics but also in themes business oriented:

“The presentations which were related to the business development of early-stage ideas were useful for me. Apart from that it was a good opportunity for networking.“

Georgios Apostolidis, Pilot 1”

But the attention goes to pilot 6, who took the stage and presented their demo of the Modular Virtual Assistant (MVA) designed for elderly care in the Session “AI for Clinicians – Opening the Black Box” that grabbed the attention of 44 participants in the early stages and kept attracting more interested attendees.

Overall, the RHF provided the pilots with several insights that will help them upgrade their solutions; have more knowledge and confidence to procure further funding opportunities; created and boosted their network, which will lead to future collaborations without a doubt.
We wish them the best of luck for their next steps!
